Posted: Updated:

Three men are facing charges related to a stabbing near Crosby over the weekend.

Divide County prosecutors have charged Christopher Baumgartner of Olivia, Minnesota with attempted murder, terrorizing, reckless endangerment, and aggravated assault.

Nicholas Webb of Kent, Washington has been charged with criminal attempt and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A third man is charged with misdemeanors in the case.

The affidavit from the arresting officer says Baumgartner stabbed Christian Boen with a Machete with an 11-and-a-half inch blade.

Boen required more than a dozen stitches to his wounds - he's been released from the hospital.

Investigators say Baumgartner stabbed Boen while Boen was sitting in Baumgartner's pickup.

The state's attorney says the case revolves around an argument over a truck being either borrowed or stolen.

Bond for Baumgartner was set at 250-thosuad dollars.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 18th.
